Overhead Door Company of Pensacola will warranty only the equipment installed or sold by Overhead Door Company of Pensacola to be free of defects in material for one year. This warranty will include parts and labor and, at Overhead Door Company of Pensacola’s sole option, shall repair or replace at our expense any defective work or material during the warranty period specified. Any work will take place during normal working hours, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays.
Service requests that are not covered by this warranty will be charged at our published service rate.
Service requests not covered by this warranty include but are not limited to:
- Requests for service due to lack of reasonable care in the maintenance of material and equipment, including a failure to follow manufacturer’s instructions, abuse, neglect, vandalism, acts of civil disorder, acts of war, acts of God, water damage, adverse weather conditions, fire, natural disasters, variations or interruptions in power supplied, unauthorized adjustments, or any other reason beyond the control of Overhead Door Company of Pensacola.
- Requests for service made necessary because of any related components not furnished and / or installed by Overhead Door Company of Pensacola.
- Requests for service to perform routine maintenance including but not limited to: any speed or timing adjustments, normal wear and tear to movable components (roller, tracks, rails, weather seals, etc.), and other maintenance items considered customarily a part of routine service in the industry
- Service requests for operator resets, replacement fuses or batteries.
- Service requests where evidence exists that others have examined the material and equipment intended to be covered by this warranty.
- Travel time and expenses associated with calls for service where the equipment is found to be operational and running upon our arrival to the location.
Overhead Door Company of Pensacola reserves the right in its sole discretion to void this warranty on accounts of any amounts of money owed for this or any other accounts by the customer.
Nothing herein is intended to imply that the warranty is to be extended beyond the expiration date noted above for the reasons include but not limited to equipment repaired and or replaced under the terms herein regardless of when such material or equipment is repaired or replaced.
This warranty is not intended to cover any Overhead Door Company of Pensacola manufactured product that has been installed, reinstalled, or serviced by other than an Overhead Door Company of Pensacola certified technician and or Overhead Door Company of Pensacola authorized agent.
The foregoing warranties are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, expressed, implied, written or oral and all other warranties including without limitation any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are hereby disclaimed. Repair or replacement by Overhead Door Company of Pensacola option is the owners sole remedy and in no event shall Overhead Door Company of Pensacola be liable for special, indirect, or incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of profits or revenue, loss of use of the component or facilities or service downtime or claims of others. Overhead Door Company of Pensacola’s liability pursuant to this warranty shall in no case exceed the purchase price allocated to the Overhead Door component or portion there of which gives rise to the claim.
